Email: cchaves@Signature-Healthcare.org

Carolina Mallea began her career in Physician Recruitment in 2014 at Signature Healthcare. As the Talent Acquisition Manager in Provider Services for Signature Healthcare, she is responsible for oversight of full cycle provider recruitment operations for a 217 bed community hospital and 18 ambulatory sites. This includes sourcing, interview planning, recruitment strategy, contract negotiation as well as HR on-boarding training plans for Physicians, NPs and PAs. She brings expertise in developing key relationships and collaborating with internal leaders to develop innovative recruiting models and great teams.

Carolina began her career in Recruitment and Human Resources in 1999; she is a seasoned recruitment professional with twenty years in recruiting and Human Resources. Prior to her role at Signature Healthcare her expertise in recruiting included niche recruiting fields such as MEMS/Nano/ Solar cell engineers. A born networker with 4,200 Linkedin connections, she fell in love with connecting people to the right role and found her niche in Recruiting. Carolina lives less than an hour from Boston and less than 10 minutes from the ocean in a Southeastern Massachusetts beach town, and loves being able to share all of the things she loves about living in this area with candidates. When she is not working, she is making the most of her beach sticker, and driving her daughters to soccer, lacrosse, and basketball and surf camp.

Most recently, Carolina has served as NEPRA Co-Chair for the 2018 annual NEPRA Educational Symposium in Newport, Rhode Island, and has actively volunteered on the website committee and is currently a Member at large. Carolina has been a member of NEPRA since 2016 and finds it a privilege to get to advocate for her fellow Physician and APP Recruiters.
